This really was a remarkable small island. Just a bunch of guys in hoods walking around with books. Was there even a place to get food around here? He could walk from one side of the island to the other in about five minutes, so that wouldn't be much of a mystery for long. Twirling his parasol, he wandered the grounds desperately trying to find a place to eat.

Apparently, some other pirates had the same idea, since two animal-looking people and their crew where holding up a fruit stand. "Dude, we should have been pirates a long time ago," the raccoon said while eating four apples at once.

"I know, right?" agreed the bird. "No rules! OOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Both were satisfied with the idea no one would be able to stop them from pushing around all the apparently pacifistic scholars at this place. However, they hadn't counted on the fact the Jet Human didn't really like bullies. He held his arm back and blasted a jet of air towards a shirtless green guy's stomach.

"You know who else doesn't have rules? My mo-" he was cut off by the air jet mentioned previously, letting out a squeal similar to a pig before hitting a tree.

So, apparently their little plan wasn't going to go as easy as expected. How...expected. Slade had intended to head off toward the library tree on his own to potentially steal the maps if he had come across them, not to mention borrow a few other books that he had hoped were there. Internally, he had hoped the library had information on the Grand Line. It was inevitable for their crew to head there eventually, and Slade wanted to be prepared for when that happened. However, what was happening currently was rather amusing. It had been a while since Slade had last heard of anyone trying to raid Ohara, not since the supposed Marine Buster Call that was reported to turn to library island to a sea of flame and ruin. However, from what Slade was witnessing, this was utterly underwhelming. Now, Slade had seen his fair share of Devil Fruits before, but these were by far the most hilarious and less-intimidating out of the lot.

"Oi, oi, last ah checked Ohara didn't have a huntin' season fer pisspoor animal knock-offs." The Marksman commented from well behind his supposed Captain, having taken the effort to fall well behind Fisher's advances long before they had even noticed to animal Zoans and their rowdy idiocy. In doing so, he had already steadied himself and outstretched his arm and rifle to take careful aim over Fisher's shoulder. He had heard of Zoan fruits before, but he had failed to see what kind of true benefit Zoan's of those types could provide. Yeah, a bird could fly, and racoons were quick, but compared to other Fruits he'd seen throughout his lifetime, he wouldn't eat either of those even if his life had depended on it. "Ah, well, might as well abuse it fer all it's worth. Erase tha annoyance, garner tha favor of tha masses, reap tha chosen rewards ah our leisure. Ah win-win in my book."

A pull of the trigger caused R.O.A.T.S to bark once more, letting loose a bullet who's intended target was one of the twenty or so pirates who were accompanying the two animal morphs, of which the bullet gracefully began to ping-pong off of a number of their swords, launching each of them from the holders hand as it ricocheted off and into another one, disarming roughly five of them before the bullet finally lodged itself into the soft and unarmored tissue of a sixth one's neck, causing him to drop to the floor in a gasping heap. He worried little about the potentially annoying bird or the raccoon of potentially equally tedious nature. The bird going airborne would surely be well within Fisher's ability to take care of, and while Slade was primary a long distance fighter, he had confidence in his own reflexes to avoid anything either of them could throw at him.

"Oi, since Yellow Thunder isn't 'ere ah'll leave the Zoan's to ya unless I spot an opening to abuse. I'll take care o' the mooks."

Gunshots. Now there was a particularly interesting way to wake one up from a nap. Eyes popping open from his short lived slumber, Tyson hauled himself into a standing position to try and figure out exactly what the commotion was all about. Much to his surprise, another ship had docked at Ohara during the short time they had been there. Luckily, the village was so small that even from the deck of their newly acquired ship, the lightning man could make out Fisher and Corban standing apart from a rather large group of toughs. One man leaning against a tree and smoke still billowing from Corban's musket was all Mikal needed to be sure a fight had broken out. How dare those stingy bastards not tell him about this sooner?

Smirking a bit, Tyson bounded off the deck with his full strength and kicked hard against the air to extend his leap and elevation. Bouncing across the air, Tyson carefully picked his preferred target and finally allowed gravity to once again take hold of him. With the sun behind him, the large man crashed from the sky above in the midst of the Zoan's crew in a crouching position, throwing up a small could of dust. Taking his sweet time to reach his full height, Tyson was quite savoring his dramatic entrance. Becoming a pirate has definitely paying off for him thus far as he towered over the raccoon and bird man staring at him in a confused manner. Glaring down at the rodent, Tyson cracked his knuckles before breaking the awkward silence. "I hate racoons."

Looking positively insulted, the racoon man held up a hand and angrily replied "Yo bro, step off!" Or at least, he attempted to do so. Unfortunately the smaller Zoan only managed to utter the word "bro" before both of Tyson's fists slammed down on top of his head with thunderous force. "Leo Breaker!"

"How the hell did I end up here?" Anka would be standing in front of ramen stand, eating a spicy fried chicken leg that she swipes off a stand. The last thing Anka remember was aimless drifting on board a ship full of chickens, don't ask how or why she was on a ship full of chickens. Anyway there was a storm and the chicken ship was caught in it. After some time has passed, Anka woke up on the shore of an unknown Island. Somehow she didn't suffer any injuries.

Anka shrug her shoulders and countined to explored the Island on foot, this place was like a living nightmare for her, no fights, no action, no nothing. It was just hooded figures who did nothing but read books all day? How could they live a boring life like?
Anka bump into a old guy with a giant head that was  to big for his body "Hello ma'am forgive me for bumping into you. My name is Pops and would like a hug to make you feel better?" This man named Pops would giggle like a school girl and randomly hug Anka, causing her to twitch. "Get off of me you freak!" Pops didn't listen as he countieed to giggle and hugged Anka tighter.

"If I may ask what is your......" Before Pops could finish his question, Anka knee the old man in the nuts, causing him to dropped to the ground crying like a baby.  Anka groaned as the old man cried, tears running all down his face. "You need to grow a pair" Anka angrily sighed as left pops on the ground crying. Cry babies is an instant turn off for Anka. Anka needed to get off of this Island as quick as possible. If she had to deal with more happy old man and book reading losers, she would go on a rampage. Anka prayed to the heavens that someone would save her from this nightmare or at least a fight will break out.

Anka then heard the sounds of bullets nearby. Anka smirked as she she sprint towards the firefight up ahead, shoving people out of her away trying to get to the fight as soon as possible. And then Anka spotted sprinting and groaned loudly. What the hell did she just stumble upon? "Aw man, this isn't a fight? This is an one-sided beat down." Anka didn't even try to herself as she watch a bird and raccoon getting their asses handed to them by some guy. Anka would wait until the beat down was over before even saying anything. She watch in amusement, this was the most excitement she had all day, how sad.

Things were off to a roaring start at this island. It looked like another tiring fight. It seemed like he'd have to join in, too, considering the group of guys rushing towards him now. He calmly lowered his parasol and slipped it onto his back for safety, kicking off the ground with two jets of air to jump the crowd. Landing behind them, he held his arms out to fire a barrage of wind jets at the pirates. Each was attack roughly six times, tumbling across the ground and falling flat. Another came from behind, swinging a cutlass at his neck. Not like it would be a problem, even with the close proximity. He simply shot a quick jet from his forehead, sending him bending under the slash and into a handstand.

He kicked the man in the nose three times, alternating his feet for a fun walking effect. After he'd had his fun, he blasted off the ground again, grabbing the man's head as he fell back down behind him and slammed him against the ground. Now that he really stopped to think about it, these guys weren't really all that tough. He wasn't too sure what he was even doing right now, considering the pile of about seven guys laying on the floor right now.

The bird man flapped into the air and kicked at the brawny man's face. He wasn't going to take that assault on his friend like that. Meanwhile, the raccoon laid on the ground and groaned quietly.

"I stan' corrected, there's our yellow drama queen! Right on cue, too." Slade noted, letting his rifle fall to a resting position on his shoulder as he watched the rather dramatic display the martial artist put on. The second man's arrival effectively removed any need for the marksman to further participate in any serious manner given the fact that the two Devil Fruit users should be able to easily take care of the mooks and the two freakish animal morphs leading them. Not like they could complain, either, considering Slade was hardly one to engage in close-quarters unless absolutely it was absolutely necessary. Instead, Corban would turn the majority of his attention to the surrounding buildings and the onlookers within, seeing it as a perfect time to further his plans for obtaining his maps and books. "Oi, I'm goin' ta do what we came here for, you two hav' fun."

The sniper turned, giving a casual wave as he approached a building to his right that contained several sets of eyes peeking out through the windows. Logically, a man approaching with a rifle on his shoulder caused them to naturally duck down. However, the one-eyed marksman would have his trip interrupted by five of the cutlass wielding men who had circled around the housing in an attempt to catch their little crew from behind. Luckily, Slade's superior reflexes had allowed him, even in his advanced age, to casually maneuver out of the way of their incoming attempts at removing the mans head. A duck, a sidestep, and a few swaying movements to the left and right allowed him to dance through the crowed without much of an issue. Stepping out at the crowds back, Slade would give another casual wave to the few peeking occupants inside who had taken another look.

"Oi, ya guy's can relax. I'm one of tha good guys, ah'least this time. Seeing as how we've already started, it might be prudent fer me ta mention tha we'll be chargin' ya a few maps an' a couple books of our choice as compensation fer gettin' these unwanteds off yer island." A shout of effort told the Sniper than one of the men behind him and turned, likely in an attempt to slash across the man's unprotected back. Unfortunately for him, the way Slade's rifle was resting on his shoulder only required the sniper to pull the trigger, which promptly planted a bullet in the man's chest cavity and dropped him to the floor. Turning a half-step to look at the four still remaining, Corban finished what he was saying after glancing back towards the individuals within the building. "Ah swear by tha seven sea's and with a pirates honor, we'll do it with ah's little collateral damage as possible... Right, boys?"

That bird has a surprising bit of fight in him. As Tyson was still surveying the damage he'd done to the racoon, the bird Zoan had flapped up once and landed what he evidently called the "Kick of Death" against the lightning man's temple. Widening his stance to absorb the blow, Tyson countered with a lightning infused punch to the bird's stomach. With the blue bird airborne, he was able to absorb most of the impact but was nonetheless thrown back a considerable distance. With the racoon still stunned, Tyson was able to take measure of his allies, notably Slade's fraternization with the locals and the small band of pirates that had followed him. What was the old man thinking letting anyone get that close?

Growling, Tyson sent a charge of electrical energy down his nervous system to increase his speed and took off at a dash to back up Corban. Approaching the pirates from behind, Tyson came to a sliding stop alongside the enemy and abruptly unleashed a fully chambered cannon punch into the nearest man's rib cage, blowing shards of bone into the unguarded pirates internal organs. "You going blind in your old age, gramps?" he asked, sending a sidelong glance towards Corban.

This had to be the weirdest sight she ever seen in her life, a raccoon and a blue bird Zoan, a fat green man and some other important mooks and small fries that were so unimportant to Anka that ignored them. But the guys that the Zoan Crew were fighting, now they were true men something that Anka admired. Even if they seem like an odd bunch, a man wielding an umbrella and a muscular lighting man? Strangely enough she hadn't been noticed yet by either side, Anka didn't knew what was happening but standing around nothing doing, it was boring her.

Luckily fate seem to on her side, The Blue Bird Zoan that was hit by Tyson was thrown back in her general direction, face first, With a smirked Anka form her hand into a fist as the Blue Bird Zoan was getting in range of her Black Barrage Style. "Get out of my way loser." Anka would spirit forwards to close the distance between her and the Bird Zoan, Anka would hit the Bird on the head, with a bone shattering haymaker. The Bird Zoan was sent crashing into the ground two meters away. The Bird Zoan was suffer from skull factures, maybe some brain damage as well. Anka would walk over towards the Bird and place her smash her foot into her chest, causing even more damage to his ribs. The Bird wasn't getting up. "Maybe I fired you up? " Anka lick her lips, maybe she was hungrier than she thought. Even being part Cyborg she still had to eat once in while. As Anka look at most likey dead Zoan bird, she frown in disgust."Devil Fruit users. What a pity, I didn't even have to use haki on you"   Adding more injury to injury, Anka kick the Blue Bird Zoan in chest, sent him crashing into a the raccoon that was laying on the ground, who groaned even louder.

One more person came forward with a knife, but was quickly knocked off his feet by a jet of air. Hopping up and down on top of him, a knew challenger made themself known by dispatching the bird. Both of the pirates groaned in the pile for a solid 20 seconds, then spontaneously exploded into yellow slime. He was far enough away to avoid it, but the others probably wouldn't be so lucky. He continued jumping until the man passed out. He'd leave the rest to the others, considering he'd taken out about half of them to begin with.

Threat averted, he took a seat and put up his parasol once again. It was hot out here, and the humidity from the close proximity to the ocean wasn't helping. Though the fight was rather lax and of no real concern, he still managed to sweat enough just from the temperature of this place. He pulled one arm out of his coat, then the next, turning up each sleeve on his shirt before wiping his forehead. No sweat stains on the sleeves for him. He saw a papaya sitting across the way and reached for it, but was too far away to grasp it. He grunted and struggled towards it, but just ended up laying down under the shade. This seemed like a good place to take a nap, for some reason. The ground was actually pretty soft, all things considered, and the library tree helped to keep things from being as sweltering as they could be. Maybe he would rest up for a bit.

Post by Corban Slade Wed Aug 06, 2014 9:40 am

Honestly speaking, had he not planned for either of his companions to interfere, Slade would have been in a rather odd predicament considering his lack of preference for close-quarters, even if his reflexes allowed him to easily dodge the lot of them and their lead-footed attacks. Dodging attacks from all sides really wasn't something he wanted to test himself on. Giving the blond bruiser a two fingered salute upon his arrival, a smirk of triumph spread over his crooked lips at the sight of his plan coming to fulfillment. These guys were starting to become easier to read, so with a bit more practice he might be able to take better advantage of the lot and their abilities in the future to make the most of it. However, an eye-twitch tugged at his brow at the mention of one of the many forbidden titles relating to age, and likewise spurred the one-eyed sniper into action by one-handedly aiming his rifle off to his right.

"Blind?! Could a blind man do this, ya pesky brat!?" The sudden echo of R.O.A.T.S barking off a round finished his sentence, launching a bullet toward the incoming target of a thrown knife which was released from the grip of one of the remaining pirates. The knife blade shattered in midair, the bullet punching clean through the thin metal and plowing into the mans cheek under his right eye, causing him to fall off of his feet and to the ground into a unmoving lump of flesh. Further making a point to prove his point, a bit of rifle acrobatics led the Marksman to pass his rifle behind his back into his other hand, which was also extended to fire another round into two more of the remaining four that had followed him, the fifth having been unlucky enough to have bones rammed into his entrails by the blond's brutal fist, leaving two more for Tyson to take care of.

Feeling confident that he had proven his point, the rifle once again fell to rest on the snipers shoulder as he used his other hand, now with the thumb extended, to point over his other shoulder towards the building behind him. "I was tellin' these fine people wha' the price of our helpin' 'em was. It's better ta get confirmation while tha' jobs happenin' instead of completein' tha' damn thing and not getting anythin' in return. Not to mention," he paused, bringing back up the blind comment earlier stated, "I did dodge the lot of 'em to get here..."

Quirking a brow as something red caught his attention out of the corner of his eye, the Sniper took note of a velvet haired woman send a solid kick to the downed bird man's chest and send him flying into the raccoon. Ignoring his inquires for later, seeing as how she hadn't yet to attack either Fisher nor he or Tyson, Slade focused his attention of the two downed animal morphs and lifted his rifle once again, still having plenty rounds left to spare. Crooked grin touching upon his lips, the sniper's finger twitched on the trigger twice and sent two speeding bullets, guided by acute accuracy, towards the two Zoan's heads. The two were pretty dazed from the ample ass kicking they'd just been handed by Tyson and the unknown redhead, however, he was in no mood to abide by the "no killing of unconscious men" rule his captain seemed to be inconsistent in enacting.

The two skulls turned into a vibrant display of red mist mere moments later, putting an end to both. Resting his rifle, once again, on his shoulder, Slade took a step forward and placed his foot on the head of one of the several downed individuals and used it as a prop, of which he leaned in on and rested his elbow on his knee. "Alright, ta those of ya that are still alive an' kickin', which I know ain't many, we'll make ya a deal. Now tha' yer bosses have jus' been laid to an untimely rest, those who're still alive are free ta go and get the hell off this island. There are two stipulations, though." Using the man's head as a step, he walked over the corpse and found one who was still barely alive, which happened to be one those lucky enough to survive a blast from Fisher, and knelt down before him. Grabbing the man by his hair, Slade lifted him slightly to get a good look into his eyes.

"Ya alright? Ya comprehend me well enough? Yeah? Good. Stipulation one: ya never come back ta this island again. If ya do, I'll hang ya from the mast of yer own ship and light it on fire, jus' to give ya some incentive to obey. Stipulation two, ya tell everyone ya come across what happened here. Tell them how yer entire crew, and yer devil fruit buddies, got annihilated by the Tempest Pirates. Mmkay, pumpkin?" Releasing the grip on the man's hair, which caused his face to land promptly in the dirt, Slade rose to his feet and turned his attention towards the Red Head, his hand stroking his stubble as he glanced over her figure. She was a tad short, in his opinion, but that never stopped him before... "Oi, strawberry!" He called out, waving her over with a nonchalant movement of his hand, "Wha's yer name?"

Post by Tyson Mikal Wed Aug 06, 2014 4:39 pm

All kidding aside, Tyson really did need to give the one eyed marksman credit for his skill with that rifle of his. Between the long range accuracy he'd displayed at Water 7 and the impressive evasive maneuvers he'd utilized here, he was shaping up to be the ideal sniper for their small crew. Far more important though, was that ruthless streak of his. Putting down the bird and raccoon while they were still disoriented was brutal and shortened the fun of playing with them a bit longer but it was unquestionably effective. Counterbalanced with Fisher's more relaxed approach to combat, it would likely fall to him and whoever else was foolhardy enough to join the Tempest to keep them from killing one another.

However, the far more pressing matter at hand were the two low level pirates still on their feet before him. Sizing them up, they didn't appear to be anything special. Simple brawlers were still brawlers even when holding cheap swords. Crossing his arms over his chest, Tyson cocked a brow in annoyance. "You people ruined my nap and the only two guys remotely worth fighting just bought it. We really doing this?" he asked in a matter of fact tone. The two pirate glanced at one another seeking silent assurance before raising their blades with a shout. Stepping forward, the twosome moved to slice the Devil Fruit user into bloody pieces. Unfortunately for them, they were only able to advance that single step before twin bolts of lightning crashed into them from the skies above, briefly revealing their skeletal structure before the swordsmen dropping in charred heaps. Keeping in mind Corban's "generous" offer to the surviving members of the opposing crew, Tyson had dialed down the voltage to simply incapacitate them rather than fry them outright.

Grumbling about the disappointing nature of the conflict, Mikal made his way towards the bar the decimated crew had been bothering in the first place and waved his hand to try and get the attention of the still frazzled bartender. "Can I get something to drink over here?" he asked, working hard to suppress the agitation in his voice.

And not long after she kick th bird Zoan, the sounds of a rifle going off direct her attetion back towards the two down animal zoan, watching their heads burst showering the ground with a fine red mist. Anka knew that olny a Marksmen could pull of such an impressive feat without being seen. Anka is a close range fight but she respect the power a marksmen bring to the battlefield, with a single shot they could change the entrie tide of a battle. Anka was about to grabed her sword,  but she stop suddenly as someone called out to her. And it turn out to be marksmen, an one eyed marksmen to be more acctuare. "The name isn't Strawberry,  Cyclops" Would called out as she made her way towards him, not even worrying about if she was heading into a trap or anything of the sort, she was more confident that her strength could overcome most problems.

Anka would look at the down men scatter around the marksmen and whistle. "Imperssive work you did here. If olny I came sooner. You look like a man who knows to have a good time." And after saying that she walk arcossed the downed men like a doormat, even wiping her sandals on one of the men's back. Once Anka was able to get a better look at the marksmen, she stop and look over his physique. She had to adimtted the one-eyed marksmen didn't look half bad, he had rugged good looks that Anka was a sucker for, not that she wouldn't let the guy in front of know. "Well Cyclops, I usually don't tell a guy my name after he buys me a drink but for you. I make an expection. Anka Ramos is the name and you Cyclops. Owe me a drink." With a smrik, Anka would leaned on a wall beside her, as she glanced at the Cyclops's rilfe and then back at him. "So I take it that you, the lighting man and that werid umbrella guy are friends? I don't why anyone would come to this place. Its Boring but I been stuck here after that storm." Anka groaned as she hit the wall behind her, causing noticeale cracks. Not even using the full extent of her strength.

All the action was over. Coat was bundled under his head. Sun beating down overheard making it hot as balls in a broiler. Seemed like more than enough reason to go to sleep. He paid no mind to any of the conversations going on around him, closing his eyes to block out the light his umbrella wouldn't shield. This place really was nothing, so the upgrades would have to wait until they went to another island. Just as well, with the third guy here, he wouldn't have to be the one to get food. Instead, he'd focus on this particularly soft spot of grass for a little while and sleep off the heat until they had what they needed. Still hungry, though. If only someone would get him some food.

(Think the task is over at this point.)

Again, kid's these day's and their insults. Unlike Tyson, however, he didn't have a woman's physique to distract the marksman from the comments and making his usual retorts. Shrugging slightly as his free hand continued to stroke his black stubble, Slade responded with a sly smirk that quickly formed on his lips, obviously signalling the birth of yet another plot forming in the bowels of his of insidious mind. "Screwin' around an' havin' a good time is my motto, ya know? Especially when it involves a fine woman. In response ta the compliment, I would say ah'm flattered, but seein' as I'm not tha type of man ta belittle himself, truly speakin' t'is all in a days work an' nothin' to be impressed by." He paused, taking into consideration the woman's name and the supposed drink he now owed her. "Ah drink with a fine strawberry like yerself? Doesn't seem too bad, actually. Ah can do that."

Tilting his head slightly, the hand stroking his stubble extend it's thumb and pointed towards the bar behind him, which happened to be the very same that Tyson had entered. "I wouldn't call Yellow Thunder, Parasol Boy, and I friends, per-say, considerin'. We're more like ah group who fin' each others abilities mutually profitable when used in conjunction wit' one another and tolerate each other to make the best of it... Judgin' by the way you handled tha' bird, I'd say the same about ya. Whaddya say?" He gestured towards the bar once again, flexing his thumb to emphasize his point, "I'll get tha' drink Ah 'owe' ya and we can talk about ah few things, ya? We might be able ta find some use fer ya and get ya off tha island."

Leaning against the bar, Tyson did not have to wait long before receiving his drink on the house. Though it was a rather cheap brand of scotch, the fact that it was free booze was nothing to shake a stick at. Breaking his norm and offering the bartender a grateful smile, Tyson nodded and took a sip of his drink before looking back at the status of his companions. Unsurprisingly, both of them had deviated from the plan entirely. Their fearless captain had apparently abandoned the quest for supplies in favor of a nap and their one eyed sharpshooter seemed to have put his negotiations for the island's Grand Line maps on hold to focus on negotiating his way into some red head's pants. Rolling his eyes, Tyson took another sip while fighting back a grumble. Not willing to go through the hassle of whipping both of them into shape, Mikal decided to take matters into his own hands and simply take care of one of the errands himself.

Finishing off his drink, Tyson left a small tip for the bartender and headed for the back of the store to try and get some supplies for their next voyage. Considering a Marine base nearby was their next likely destination, he figured they would be alright with only the bare essentials. Once they stormed the base they could simply raid the food supplies there for no cost. "Try not to die of a heart attack, ya old geezer. You've still got those maps to worry about," he said, sending a casual wave to the sharpshooter as he headed toward the back of the bar where the kitchen stock was likely located.
