Equipment Description: Looks like a standard issue Marine rifle, with the addition of a small scope attached to the top and a short bayonet fixed to the end.
Equipment Significance: The standard gun given to Issou upon entering the marines. The grips are worn from use and fit comfortably in his hands. It holds some sentimental value, and has been modified to make more useful.
Equipment Strength:
-When aimed through the scope, it is accurate up to 100 meters.
-The gun is well made and sturdy, allowing it to be used as a club or spear in combat.
-Has hidden second chamber, allowing for an unexpected shot
Equipment Weaknesses:
-When not taking a post to aim and fire through the scope, the gun is only accurate to 50 meters, taking a 10 finesse penalty at any higher range
-Each chamber can only hold one bullet, so Issou can only fire up to two shots before having to reload. Reloading takes the better part of a post, and the gun can only be reloaded and fired in the same post if Issou is doing nothing else.
-As every gun contains at least some small difference from another of the same model, to say nothing of the modifications made to this gun, Issou cannot comfortably switch between this gun and another to fire multiple times without needing to reload. Firing with another gun before or after using this one requires a separate post at best.
