Personality: Though he still believes in justice, his experiences have worn it down to just a sliver. As it is now, Issou is perfectly willing to get his hands dirty, he'll go to almost any length to get his revenge, and only then stop to think about what it cost him, or how to improve the world from there. Though he does have little doubt that his revenge WILL improve the world.

From his time in service with the marines, he knows what lengths a criminal will go to, and is willing to go far enough to meet them coming back. Pirates, rebels and marines alike get the same amount of mercy, and he doesn't have much to go around. He willingly serves anyone who seems able to give him a leg up in the world, be it promotion or strength, though he has no particular loyalty. It is possible that he could find loyalty to someone, but it hasn't happened yet.

To avoid having any reason to visit a dentist, Issou tends to take obsessive care of his teeth, and can often be found flossing his teeth while doing other things, such as reading a book, standing guard, sitting around and talking, etc.

History: Issou was born the crown Prince of an island located in the South Blue, which had to deal with nearly omnipresent strife between the rebel forces and the marines, which left much the island unprotected from frequent pirate raids. The constant fighting was the backdrop to which he grew up, and at a young age he joined the marines under a false identity, dreaming of ending the fighting and bringing peace to both his future nation, and the world.

Before he had made any real progress towards achieving this dream, one of the World Nobles, for reasons Issou never found out, ordered the destruction of the island, and its entire population was wiped out. Issou was in training at a marine base on another island, and so escaped the destruction, though his family and all his people died. With his goal of peace shattered, he redirected his attentions towards revenge.

Most people wanting to fight against the structure of the world government either become a pirate or a rebel, but his experience with both parties on his homeland and left him distrustful of both groups. Instead, he continued his training to become a marine, aiming to advance to the point where he could use them to destroy the world nobles himself.
