Gaze Upon the Phantom
Height: 5'9
Weight: 112lbs
Hair: Pure Black
Skin Tone: Creamy pale beige
General Appearance:Kururai's body is interestingly strange. Or, rather than body, his mentality. Kururai is obviously, biologically, a female; however, in mindset Kururai is male. In fact, he prefers to be referred to as a male, despite his looks-- a fair explanation for why, for
her his upcoming crew, Kururai will demand that he be called "sir"; "Captain" or "Cap" would suit him just fine as well.
On to the actual appearance, Kururai has quite a remarkable body. With lengthy onyx hair, even when tied up in a ponytail, it extends past his shoulder-blade. Kururai's proportions are optically deadly. His hair is kept pristine and silky smooth, with jagged tips, yet somehow lacking imperfections such as dead-ends and the otherwise. His round facial structure paired with a pointy chin and large eyes matches well with the thin nose without a bridge that he possesses.
Jumping back to Kururai's hair, his bangs fall all over the place, but never in front of his eyes-- an odd anomaly indeed. The majority splits around his cheek bones and hugs the bottom of his jawline when extended thus far. The outliers swing between his eyes, curving around the start of his nose.
Back to his facial features, curiously, Kururai has a scar underneath his left eye that seems to be stitched up: plot twist! What appears to be stitching is in actuality three more scars. Rawr.
The cheekbones of this soon-to-be adventurer protrude slightly, high up over his face, just beneath his dark eyes that pairs with his hair color. Focusing on the specifics, Kururai's nose is petite, lacking a bridge as aforementioned. It points forward at the tip in a round manner, while his nostrils stick closely and thin. His lips are a smooth hot pink shade naturally, and seem to constantly be hydrated.
The ears that hang off his head possess numerous qualities that are of little importance: I'm gonna state them anyways. Kururai has closed earlobes; he in other words lacks cartilage that hangs off. Lucky him. Furthermore, this gender-confused gal- er, guy- has rounded tips that hide behind the bed of hair atop him. Two golden hooped earrings reveal themselves directly in the center of his lobe with accurate measurements.. for some reason.
Know his Humanity
Personality: Arrogant: Kururai's arrogance knows no bounds. He's convinced there is none greater than he. Of course, he does have some level of skill, but all in all, he's egotistical to a fault. His pride precedes a fall, but the fall pertains to his enemies. His narcissistic attitude helps in some occasion, but naturally, that isn't always the case. However, Kururai's a cunning bastard. He won't let his self-love run rampant on the outside; he keeps this side of him under wraps. Yet, his speech patterns kind of give it away.
Sarcastic: A natural conversation of Kururai's consists of 70% sarcastic comments and a snarky attitude to boot. He will take few verbal suggestions and/or actions seriously, and shrugs off just about anything said, less it catches his attention especially.
Deceitful: This
woman's a wonderful liar. As it turns out, Kururai's passed many trials and survived many unpleasant situations through a silver tongue. He's got a one-in-a-million Poker Face, and a fantastic control of his tear ducts.
Disrespectful Pretty self-explanatory. Kururai seldom shows respect for another. Those he does do so for are quite some people- people worth taking note of. There's little room for Kururai's better-thinking of someone, and thus, little shown respect. Again, Kururai's a snarky Prick in many situations.

Dislikes: ➣Defiance
➣Ugly Persons
➣Vegetables
➣Rebellious Attitudes
➣Disrespect (how ironic)
➣Being Tricked
➣Losing
Motivations: ➣ Attaining all of what he likes- Food, Pretty Men and Women, Power, Money; above all else, what Kururai desires is glory.
Fears: ➣ The lack of choices
➣ The Feeling of Powerlessness
➣ Famine
➣ Losing What he Finds Important (money, loved ones perhaps, etc)
Special Characteristics: ➣Wearing a Smirk
Though not quite constant, one seldom sees Kururai frowning, as he's consistently plotting something in his mind, whether it be the fall of a species or tomorrow's breakfast. Otherwise, Kururai's just a happy dude with too much time on his hands and freedom before him- who wouldn't grin at the thought of that?
➣Taunting Enemies
Nearly a problem, the man fails to enter any battle without whipping out a book of verbal attacks (metaphorically; Kururai doesn't carry a book into battle).
➣Random Outbursts of Violence
Kururai's very impulsive; a perfect phrase to describe him is "I do what I want". And this includes unpredictable acts of violence, for perhaps no apparent reason.
➣Insane...
No need to explain. He's insane. (<
➣Quick Change in Attitude
The man's quick to change in mind. This might be due to plotting, just a general change of heart, of his insanity in play, but bottom line is: Kururai will change his act at the randomest moments, whether relevant and with reason or not.
➣Hand Gestures
When Kururai speaks, he tends to use hand gestures- a common habit among many, and Kururai is not exempt.
➣Ambidexstrous in all four limbs
A talent that many lack. Kururai is ambidextrous- for example, he can write with both hands in neat, calligraphic writing, or he can kick a ball with his left just as well with his right foot.
➣Over-Analyzing Things
This guy tends to think too deeply into things. Though this is one of his lesser quirks that doesn't surface too often, Kururai does it nonetheless. And with this, a little suspicion can grow within Kururai with relative ease.
➣Being a freaking dick
Again, self-explanatory.
Fade into his past
History: There was a man- nothing special. A scraggly beard held in his hand, stroking it. In fact, his raggedy clothes made me think he was homeless. His hat was all patched up and ridiculously pointy to the extent where I could think him to be a crazed mage. His walking stick could've been a staff for all I knew- but his words. They came out like ice, cold; yet, it was jagged and just, so terribly rough. He spoke with a rough growl almost, but shaky and soft. His words were just so... strikingly... his words were piercing.
The man walked up to me one day. I hadn't seen him before though. In fact, I haven't seen him at all. But, he was definitely familiar. Maybe that was why I could recall his clothes so accurately.. Why. Why did I describe him so closely? He was... Anyways.. The old man asked me something. So simple, but it brought up nostalgic thoughts.
"Penny for your thoughts, buck for your past, wanderer?"
It was a rather odd question, creepy even. But, I couldn't help but feel the need to answer in turn, properly. It might've been an illogical decision. Who knows. It could be someone attempting to trick me into something. I answered anyways.
I answered with the latter. And I told unto him:
I started out in a small village towards the east of the Equator. I can't recall the village name, but it was certainly one with happiness. I believe I was from rather rich origins, as I can recall a better life than those of the villagers. But I conversed with them well nonethless. There was no greed, hatred or jealousy present. All was well...
until the fire nation attackedBut, as cliche as it is, pirates came. They ravaged my village, and ultimately killed all within it. Yet, they spared me. Why was I so special? Perhaps because I had retaliated. All others were fearful. But I... I couldn't help but feel the need to fight back. The feeling.. It was exhilaration. As I picked up a scimitar a fallen pirate had held tight, a surge of power went through me. I couldn't help but run at them in a crazed joy of wonderous agony which poured through the smokey air's atmosphere. These sounds enticed me, and drew me closer to the deathly mistresses calls. And it was here that I found myself within the belly of the beast.
I was aboard the invading pirate ship. The Captain had allowed me to live. As I would later find out, I was forcefully recruited. It was apparent that I had potential to them. After all, 13 men fell before my feet.
My village had been laid to waste, and there was nothing more for me in the past. All that was left to choose was a life of moving forward, alongside these pirates. And this life.. it wasn't too terrible.
And here I find myself now, thinking it to be a good time to set out myself to the vast seas which now held my heart captive. Where my desires and will had bore clear, and my ambitions had been paved. It is in these blue waters, I would begin my legend.
