Aphrodi also wears a silver necklace with wings attached to it. He received those when he was a little boy,from his mother. He also believes that it brings luck. Aphrodi is not really muscular nor does he look weak. When first encountering Aphrodi you might underestimate him. Since he does not look all that threatening or dangerous.

Aphrodi has two scars on his body.The first one is from when he received when he accidentally fell into the sea. A sea monster nearly bit him but he managed to escape right in time to avoid any heavy damage. Some of the monster's tooth managed to bit him but the injury was not that bad. The scar doesn't draw that much of an attention but he doesn't want to show it. The second one was when he was at his mothers grave he was nearly crying and that's when he cut himself. He needed to stop because he didn't want to cry over his mothers death. Aphrodi seems not to have any facial hair, Aphrodi has a habit to cover a bit of his left eye he also often grabs a little bit of his hair and spins it around his finger. While it is wrapped around his finger he keeps circling his finger to make it rotate, he does that because he enjoys it.

Aphrodi also has a reading glasses. Because the books he usually buys at store are not that big they are made to travel with them. They are so small they fit into your pocket, he wears those glasses when he is reading quietly alone. He hates it when people make fun of him because of his glasses. Aphrodi wears the glasses besides reading on rare occasions or when he feels like it. The glasses doesn't effect his sight that much, he only can't see those tiny letters. Instead of talking he likes to read books, books that mostly end in a tragedy. He thinks those books are the ones that best describe his past. As side from being very polite, Aphrodi is very kind and caring if you're in the same crew as him. If you're not he probably couldn't careless about you. His personality changes drastically when he loses his scarf. When he is not wearing his scarf he becomes more violently and might not listen to people who he should. Also he becomes way too reckless, Aphrodi is aware of this but he keeps being like that until he puts back his scarf. Aphrodi likes to provoke his enemies, he loves it when he makes his opponent angry. He gets pumped up when he sees his opponent losing his cool. Aphrodi hates being bored so that's why he has always a book with him. So he doesn't bore himself while he is in the sea or exploring an island.

When he is pissed off, he might be the same when he loses his scarf. He'll kill anyone who defies him or his crew. He'll also show no mercy when you have any killing intentions to his crew, he will kill you before you reach that point. But when he is battling with two or more persons he might keep his cool since brute force will only backfire him. Also he will never walk away from a challenge, even if he'll get crushed like he's nothing. He rather dies worthy than running away from a challenge.

He picked that up when he was younger, he always saw his mother do it and unconsciousness he picked it up. His second habit is going to his pocket to grab his small book from it, he read so many books that it has become natural for him. Even if he doesn't have his book, he still continues to go into his pocket. He's trying to get rid of the second habit but it's not going well. He tried switching from pockets but that failed because he ended up putting it in the same pocket.

History: Aphrodi was 5 when he received his first dual sword. Since he was 5 years old he has been training with his father, who was a great swordsman. His father's name was Hiroto. He was training everyday except Friday. That's when he had a day off. When he reached the age of 11, his home was attacked by marines. Of course they were not the real marines, the people who attacked his house were people who stole the clothes of the marine. Of course as being 11 years old, Aphrodi couldn't tell the difference. But when his house was under attack Aphrodi's father was protecting them from the 'marines'. There were like 24 people and they all had weapons. Hiroto was going hold them off as there was no way of escaping. He let my mother and I flee, but I couldn't just let my father alone fighting. Aphrodi ran back attempting helping is father. But when he arrived, he saw someone stabbing him from behind. Aphrodi was shocked and couldn't move. He dropped his sword on the ground. His father was getting stabbed and shot from every side, Aphrodi just realized that his father had died before his own eyes and he couldn't do anything.

When Aphrodi turned 15 he discovered that his mother was also a swordsman and she was even more skilled than his father. The reason why she didn't help him seems unclear. But Aphrodi gets training from his mother for a year, then Aphrodi felt there is something wrong. Aphrodi felt he was too 'soft'. In order to awake his true powers, Aphrodi had to do something that no one would expect. Even though Aphrodi always lost from his father he went head on with his mother. Eventually he killed his own mother, then he had a weird feeling. Unable to describe what that feeling was.. Aphrodi didn't shed a single tear during the whole process. When his mother asked why he said "In order to grow stronger." those were his last words to his mother. Aphrodi had broken his swords while duelling his mother so he took her swords. He said on his mothers grave "I'll turn this world up side down" before leaving his mothers grave.

After that he hard a hard time surviving, he had no money to rent a room, he didn't had any food or drinks. Aphrodi was still too young to earn enough money to rent a house and buy food. The only solution to survive was to steal, he was stealing from houses, stores and farmers. He kept doing that until he reached 17, when he sneaked in a house he saw a picture of a woman who looked like his mother. He was shocked to see it, then she comes home and sees him. Instead of reporting him she took him in, he adopted him and told him that everything would be alight. The very same day, Aphrodi explains everything what happened. She was surprised that someone like Aphrodi would do that, but she still kept Aphrodi as his foster son. She allowed him to do whatever he wanted if he didn't bring any problems at home at acted like a gentleman. She taught Aphrodi everything he needed to know,slowly he was changing back to how he used to. When he realized it, he didn't care any more, until she said that Aphrodi would be a great pirate. Then he remembered what he said at his mothers grave.

Aphrodi asked if she could assign him to a kendo school. She agreed, she paid for a full year. Aphrodi had a feeling that he wouldn't need to follow lasses any more so he quit 3 months before the year would end. After that his foster mother asked if he could sit down and talk to him. It was revealed that his real mother and his foster mother are sisters. Aphrodi was quite shocked to hear that. When Aphrodi reached the age of 19, he thanked her for everything she had done for him. After that he made a promise with his aunt that he would become a great pirate. Before he could set sail he needed to pay a last visit to his mothers grave. Aphrodi was sitting in front of her grave, he was remembering those old days and was on the edge of crying but he managed to stop it when he cut his arm. He stood up, and said "I hope we'll meet again, mother." those were his last words before he left his mothers grave.
