Name: Akemi Kurosawa
Epithet: Little Minx
Age: 12
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Sexuality: None
Affiliation: Navy
Occupation: Fighter
Appearance: Being a young girl of only 12 years ago, Akemi isn't that tall or scary in her appearance, being only a few feet off the ground. Her face isn't really strange, she has long blonde hair and a mouth with a constant frowned smirk on it. However, the strangest thing regarding Akemi's face are her multicoloured eyes, one red, one blue. She was not born with this, her eyes were once both blue, until she suffered a fatal accident when she was younger.
In terms of clothing, Akemi wears a very old fashioned dress, one which makes her seem frail and weak. Her dress comes complete with white stockings, and black shoes. It is a very Victorian looking appearance, and it is what one would expect a woman to wear if someone thought woman to be very old fashioned.
Hair Color: Blonde
Skin Tone: Light
Height: 3' 4"
Weight: 35kg
Personality: Akemi is as immature as they come. Being thirteen years old, she acts like a little madam and moans as much as she can, trying to get everything she can. No matter how strong her opponent or how difficult her situation, she will always try and get out without a fight. She will complain and moan at her opponent, and will get really angry if her dress is harmed or her appearance is messed with in any way.
She stays true to her nickname "Little Minx" as much as she can, being a mischievous rascal. She usually gets given into trouble for her "games" as she calls them by her superiors. Her games can include things like cutting off the navy flag and replacing it with a pirate flag just to see when someone will notice, and whether it'll be Navy, Pirates or her crew that will notice. It makes her life a lot more interesting, which is something she covets after everything she went through.

- Being Alone
- Sea Stone
- Sea Anomalies
Behavior/Habits: Akemi, without realizing it unless pointed out, fiddles with the bottom of her dress when she gets nervous, which happens when she is surrounded by people of a higher rank than her, which is regularly in her life. She also turns her fingers into acid and throws the acid between her hands when she is bored, as a game to try and not let it hit the floor and burn through whatever she is standing on, whether it is the wood of a ship or something else.
History: Akemi Kurosawa, from the noble house of Kurosawa, hated her life. Her life was dreadfully boring, being a member of a prosperous family, it was full of being present at meetings, learning things about helping the family business and other such administrative duties. Also, being the seventh daughter of a noble family didn't help her chances of being noticed and feeling loved. The eldest three siblings of the family were the ones who got all the attention, and the other four including Akemi had to fight to even be noticed, but fighting was something Akemi had never cared for. She hated how her life was heading, her life had no meaning, no purpose, so she went out and gave it one.
She ran out of her manor house one day and went towards the pier, without anyone noticing as no one cared. There was a ship already docked, with some strange people there. They saw Akemi, and they instantly ran towards her and picked her up, leaving a note on a post for a ransom she knew her family would never pay, if they even realized she was missing within the year, which the never did. She was eight years old when this happened.
Akemi spent three years of her life on the slaver's ship, never being sold for a reasonable price so kept to work on the ship, as she was good at cleaning up. One day she accidentally dropped her bucket of water on the captain of the ship's shoes. The captain, a very pride and vain man, became enraged at this apparent act of mutiny and disobedience and, as a result, took out his sword and sliced her right eye all the way up from her cheek to her eyebrow, completely destroying her sense of sight and, more importantly to the slavers, her price rate.
That night, while locked in her cell, as every night her food was brought to her. But that night, on the eve of her twelfth birthday, a fruit was brought to her: a fruit that no one else wanted to eat for fear of poison, so they gave it to Akemi to test. She tried the fruit and, although it didn't taste very good - it actually made Akemi gag a few times - it was far from poisonous. But as Akemi squirmed as she swallowed the disgusting fruit, she changed. Her body changed, becoming a sludgy liquid: acid. She burned through several layers of the ship before she became herself again. She used that night training and perfecting her use of her new-found power, until she could at least willingly decide whether or not to change her bodily form.
That morning, on her twelfth birthday, she struck back against the slavers that had wronged her for so long. She melted through her cell bars, and walked up onto the deck of the ship, much to the crew's confusion and anger. The captain walked up to Akemi, and slashed her with his sword, but it went straight through her body, and was melted by the acid. He had aimed for her head, trying to slash down the eye, but when Akemi's body reformed, her right eye was still gone. She was soon to change that. Her slave master, the man that had punished and hurt her for years of her life, was now cowering in front of her, afraid of her power, afraid of her.
The young girl raised her hand to the man, and walked up towards him. He was going to die, that much was obvious to him, but what he didn't know was the pain Akemi was about to put him through. The twelve year old girl used her right hand to reach into her master's eye socket, and rip out his right eye, and placed into her own empty socket. Her head reformed, and the eye, her master's red eye, became hers, forever marking her as a freak, a monster.
Akemi would sail the ship to the nearest port, where she would enroll into the navy, and learn much. For one, that she consumed a Devil Fruit, and a Logia one, which meant she could not be harmed without either Haki being used or Sea Stone, an element she would come to fear. Her ability was powerful, but it had its limitations. It was now her duty to both the Navy and to herself to master her ability and conquer the seas, as part of a crew.
