    Spoiler:

    Equipment Name: Needle and thread
    Equipment Level: 1
Equipment Type: Needle and wire (combined)
Equipment Description: This is the hooked needle and wire used for stitches, except it's the top-notch, durable kind since she doesn't believe in shoddy medical tools. (Think of the wire strings used in Naruto.)
Equipment Significance: No emotional / sentimental value. Astoria uses these to patch up her crew, if need be, or she likes to trip / trap opponents if possible. (Or, you know, hold crew mates down if they're in need of of verbal or physical punishment for some wrongdoing.) The wire used for battle purposes is 10 feet long, but while in social topics, if Astoria is stitching someone up, she has another spool of the wire in her pouch on her hip.
    Equipment Strength:

    • The wire itself is 10 feet long so it can wrap around things / people if need be.
    • The hook can catch onto or dig into clothing / material / skin (ouch) and potentially pull people (or objects) closer, but this works better if the wire is wrapped around the intended target.
    • The wire is strong enough to trip people and is difficult to see by the naked, untrained eye.
    • If pulled tightly enough, the wire can cut through certain things (such as cloth and skin).
    • The hook cannot be bent out of its original shape.
    • Can also be used to close wounds in allies.
    • If the entire wire is pulled tightly within a distance of two feet (as though it's in a bundle), it can block certain weapons.

    Equipment Weaknesses:

    • The wire can be countered by people with a higher Power skill than Astoria's Dexterity skill.
    • The hook can be pulled out of whatever it may be caught in.
    • If Astoria isn't careful with her aim, she can latch onto unintended objects, thus delaying her movements.
    • Cannot block any haki

    Spoiler:
    Equipment Name: Falciform Amputation Knife
    Equipment Level: 2
    Equipment Type: Amputation Knife
Equipment Description: This knife is naaaasty. Old time surgeons used it to amputate limbs (it's that sharp, folks!). Despite Astoria's belief in clean tools, she doesn't do much to clean this other than wiping it off since she doesn't like the idea of actually amputating her crew's limbs. (A little grime wouldn't hurt the enemy, though, ha.) It has an 8 inch long blade with a four inch handle. She keeps this (along with her other tools) in a semi-large pouch kept at her right hip.
Equipment Significance: Astoria found this while in an older part of Alabasta and decided to keep it for the history of the item. She is also fond of the idea of holding it to the Alabasta Royals' throats, however, so this object generally stimulates her rage, making her more ruthless in battle.
    Equipment Strength:

    • Can be used for stabbing (like a hook's tip due to its curve) (o-o)
    • If your limb gets caught in this baby, watch out! It can cut to the bone.
    • This is unbreakable.
    • Can be used at the same time as other weapons.
    • Can be used to cut through rope and other objects in the vicinity.
    • It's lightweight, so Astoria can use it quickly and fluidly.
    • Is coated in poison, but it only affects living things if the creature is cut / it is taken into the bloodstream (Not through ingestion)
** The poison takes affect over the course of 6 posts. The first 3 posts, the infected person's reflexes and speed are slowed. The latter 3 posts is where the poison causes blurred vision and breathing difficulties, ultimately causing the person to blackout after the 6th post. (If the thread allows killing, the poison will kill OR permanently affect the person (IE: If not killed, the person will have lesser ability in the affected area of the body) after the EIGHTH post.)

    Equipment Weaknesses:

    • Only for close-distance fighting.
    • The sharpest part of the knife is in its curve. The outer edge does not cut as deeply. (But it'll still hurt like hell.)
    • No healing properties, unless somehow carving the flesh off of someone is "healing" in terms of poison or something...
    • Cannot cut through bone.
    • Not likely to block many attacks (Astoria is more likely to dodge).
