Personality: While his name suggests otherwise he is a cheery dreamer with his head in the clouds. He is determined and won't give up until he's dead. He knows his limits but always pushes them. He can also be mischievous and feels when something goes wrong it's his fault. Overall he is kind and caring with a mischievous side. He can be over protective and isn't easily offended unless it's about his family or friends. He gets angered easily by taunts yet he taunts even though they are terrible. He gets excited when people talk about food and has an ambitious and adventurous spirit. He constantly dwells and is always hopeful and has always wanted to be a good swordsman or have a Devil Fruit. He loves tales about hero's and famous people often striving to become like them. He takes a while to figure things out and likes to have jokes but is also serious when needed to.

Behavior/Habits: He constantly adds 'Y'know?' when he's irritated or bored to his sentences. He bites the inside of his cheek when nervous. Lament constantly hums under his breath a lot. He likes to play pranks and gets angry quickly at taunting and mocking. When someone is kind he often is reminded of his mother and father and how they brought him up with manners... but he doesn't seem to use them and can often come of as annoying and rude. Lament is also boring. Really boring. Thus he was titled 'The Boring One' to his constant fails at jokes and boring and blatantly obvious comments... that is what makes him funny which makes his title sarcastic.
History: Lament was born on a normal island. His parents loved him and he loved them. One day they gave birth to his sister who he was insanely overly protective at. He trained swordplay with his dad often and his mother taught him essential skills like cooking, sewing, cleaning etc. Pirates came to the island and inspired Lament greatly. Marines followed and attacked the island and his father died protecting his mother. The marines defeated the pirates and then one tried to take his mother but she fought back resulting in her death. He grew up and moved away on a small sailing boat. After his taste of the sea with his sister he wanted to become a pirate. He continued to sail around islands but a storm resulted in the death of his sister and him being rescued. Totally distraught and angered at his family's death he began to feel more and more rage against the marines and remembered his father and the pirates. With the dangers of the sea, the marines and other pirates Lament began to prepare for a life of the pirate. Now he can't wait to join a crew and begin sailing. For his family and there honour!
