Im not sure how this works but it seems like revolutionaries dont have crews. Can anybody clarify this for me and if not is there a way that we can join up?

Well, sad to say that revs don't have crews. But revs have the advantage to do solo tasks since when you're a pirate or a marine, you can't do solo tasks without a crew. Revolutionaries can always do tasks together with other revolutionaries.
