Personality: Taihaku is a man shrouded in mystery to those around him. He can constantly be seen smiling and appears to be a fun loving individual. He speaks in a heavily sarcastic tone and uses mocking politeness often when speaking to others. His speech pattern remains constant through almost any situation he is placed in, causing confusion to those who speak with him. People often are unsure when he is being serious or not, and this fact doesn't escape Taihaku. He knows the effect he has on people but doesn't care about it. He is a manipulative person with no clear goal in site or explanation for his actions.
Taihaku is also a man with clear cut goals for himself that others lack knowledge about. He is one who would go to most any means to accomplish those specific goals. One specific trait he possesses is his own brand of "justice". Taihaku likes, and loves hard, and while it is difficult to get close to him due to his personality and the distance he puts between himself and others if one is able to get close enough Taihaku would do anything for that person. Any slight they may suffer at the hands of others will be returned ten fold by Taihaku, by any means necessary. This is unknown to many though as he appears to be an uncaring person, though that is just what he wants everyone to believe.
He also has a blunt and realistic personality. He will not beat around the bush when asked a question, or when he has a thought on something or someone. He also dislikes ignorant optimism greatly. He thinks it is a waste of time to try to bring out the good where there is none. He will often engage in sarcastic optimism to mock this trait shared by many.

History: Taihaku was born a little over 21 years ago on an island controlled by nobles, and overseen by Celestial Dragons, and in extension the Marines. While Taihaku himself was no noble he had what many would consider under the circumstances a good life. His parents worked for nobles during the day, and came home every night to tend to his needs. Though he was young Taihaku saw a clear separation within the society in which he lived, but he accepted it as the way life is. The nobles had more than him, he had more than others, and so on until the very last person on this earth was accounted for. Being jealous or feeling hatred was something that never crossed his mind because he was content with what little he had.
From that young age Taihaku was noted to have had the most consistent personality anyone could think of. His sarcastic nature accompanied by his constant smile was something he had from a young age, and never grew out of. He could often be found around his favorite animal, the fox, and this quickly made comparisons grow between them. Sly, cunning, estimating, smart, etc. These comparisons mixed with Taihaku's white hair lead people to call him 'The White Fox' from a very early age. It was a name that would stick with him throughout his life and one he didn't seem to mind much at all. As he grew older his parents like most all parents wished more for his life than what they were doing. They didn't want him to just grow old serving the spoiled, pampered, nobles as they put it but to go out and make his own life.
Taihaku of course loved his parents and wanted to make them proud more than anything, and he agreed to do just that. He didn't know exactly what it was he was doing to do but he would find something to uphold his agreement. As the years past and he came of age at 18 he was still stuck on the island like the rest of his peers he grew with and it seemed as if his promise would falter. His inaction pained him more than it could anyone else as he thought of himself as a disappointment to his parents. They constantly reassured him that he was young and had all the time in the world but to Taihaku the time to act was the present not the future. One year passed before Taihaku found his calling, but it came at a great price.
There was a festival to be had at the arrival of a group of Celestial Dragons. They were at the top of the food chain and basically ran the world. The Marines were in their pocket, they got away with most anything, and they were coming to the island they long ruled and taxed over. The festival is as you would expect. Everyone showed up in their nicest things and gave the fake facade that they were all better than they actually were. The display was sickening to Taihaku. He felt that one should be themselves at all times and this constant sucking up for no reason was an awful thing. His parents felt the same way as he did but were obligated all the same to show up, and act like monkeys in suits for this specific group.
As the sun was falling on the day an unexpected event happened. Taihaku had long since left the festivities while he parents stayed to fulfill their duties. That night the revolutionaries attacked the island to 'liberate' it from the reign of the nobles. Fighting and chaos ensued as the revolutionaries tried to free slaves and what many suspected as capturing the Celestial Dragons. Taihaku, who was in the forest a good ways away at the time, payed no attention to the shots and screams as to him they all sounded as if it was just a simple celebration. His mistake proved to be fatal however as in the attack his parents were killed. When he finally decided to make his way back he quickly realized what was going on and looked for his parents, only to find death looking back.
The Marines on the island managed to fend off the attack with help from backup that arrived soon after but the damage was done. His parents were dead, the island was in chaos, and he was left with nothing. The next day he buried his parents and to all who once knew him they could see a visible change. It was as if something within him snapped, and he was never the same as he once was. There was once an admiration in his heart for the revolutionaries and what they stood for but now there was only hatred for them, nobles, and Celestial Dragons alike. They all played a part in what lead up to his parents death. The only group he didn't fault were the Marines. They kept the peace all the while and when the revolutionaries attacked they drove them back. They were the only ones spared from the hatred that was burning within him.
From that moment he was determined to put an end to the groups that wronged him and took his parents from the world. The revolutionaries and the nobles alike. He soon after disappeared from the island leaving behind most everything save a broken pocket watch that he took from the corpse of his parents. That being his only memento to them became his most valued possession instantly. When Taihaku left the island he searched for places to train his body and mind. Though he had been in fights as a child and teenager it was never a sustained thing. He took two years to train himself to prepare to carry out his task. He also thought of the best ways in which to do it. He figured his best bet was to join the Marines where there was readily available information on both groups that he could use for his advantage.
While training he picked up hand to hand fighting as his style and even after two years of training was still very raw. He is seen by many he trains with as raw but full of unmatched potential with refinement. While Taihaku knows that is more than likely an understatement as no one is unmatched in anything they just have yet to meet it. He soon after joined the Marines in order to put his plans into effect. He of course lives in fear that he will be found out and that he won't be able to complete his plans but his drive to accomplish them is great enough for him to risk his life and name doing it.
