Appearance: Sato is a slim young man of average height with rather messy black hair, which almost reaches down to his shoulders, along with some strands pointing upwards on top of his head and a prominent tuft obscuring most of his forehead. His hair is later brushed to the right side of his face covering up his right eye. He has red eyes with slit pupils similar to that of a snake's. Sato wears a long, black cape reaching down to his feet, with golden edges, a much lighter collar circling his neck, and a prominent, white ribbon hanging down on his chest. Below it, Sato seems to wear a plain greyish blueish tinted white shirt, with prominent brown cuffs and what looks like a large metal band circling each of his biceps. From a light sash circling his waist hangs a distinctive, pale blue cloth waistguard, consisting of four long pieces of cloth reaching down below his knees. Each of these pieces is adorned by a large, dark cross with fan-shaped arms. Below such waistguard, Sato wears a pair of armored boots, which, on the front, bear plates bearing the very same motif which appears on the waistguard.

Personality:Sato is a quite person. He mostly keeps a calm face and rarely shows any emotions. Sato always likes to question the way people, organizations and crews handle things, namely failure and weakness, and holds a strong belief on comradeship. Even if a crew mate was to leave the crew, he would always consider them a comrade as he believes in the saying, 'Once a comrade, always a comrade.'
Sato does, however, have a softer, caring side. Sato lacks the sadistic tendencies shared among most of the pirates these days. He also appears to be unusually kind towards his crew and is very protective of them. When in a battle Sato still remains to show less to no emotions no matter the situation. If death were to come, he would maintain a clam face, if he is in intense pain, he would maintain a clam face and so forth. He also likes to end fights and other situations quick and most likely try to avoid the avoidable ones. He doesn't have a knack for confrontation like other pirates do although if he has to kill somebody then he won't hesitate to do so. If someone was to go against his beliefs, friends, crew or family then he would stop at nothing to get their death on his hands. Sato is more of a devil on the inside and an angel on the out however Sato seems to suffer a lot from motion sickness.

Sato has a habit for not replying to peoples comments and often ignoring them to maintain quietness although this often angers the speaker. Another habit he has is allowing weak pirates aboard his ship. He often can't say No resulting in this problem. Sato is quite the ladies man and can easily score a bunch of ladies but this interests him in the slightest way often turning down anybody that tries to get to know him and his past. He always keeps himself and his history closed in, not allowing anyone to know too much about it however on a few occasions, he would often let out tips and slight bits of information about his past. Another Habit is his blank expressions. He doesn't show emotions a lot when he is supposed to and often keeps his face blank at all times leaving no sign of emotion.
History:

Not much is known about Sato other then his life after being found by a band of travels in the east blue. They say that his village, including his parents were killed by a secret Marine attack causing him to hate marines when he grew up. Sato was found by a group of travelers in a local river, floating down stream in a brown basket. He was then saved and taken in. The travelers often argues about putting him in a orphanage but instead they just kept him for their own. Sato would get taken on the travelers travels up until he was the age of 15 where he would run away from the travelers and start his own adventure. In one of his journeys he had found a secret, weird looking fruit that he would eat further gaining strange powers... this fruit was known as Kage Kage no mi the Shadow Shadow fruit. With his new fond powers, Sato would set out on his adventure in hopes to be well known and find a new family upon the great wide ocean. His adventure would start here... in the EAST BLUE! But before he could even sail he had to think of ways to gain his very first boat so he decided to go on many travels doing general jobs for towns folks earning a bit of gold. This would continue for about a couple of months until Sato finally had enough to buy him a small ship big enough to set sail. After purchasing his Boat, Sato would say his farewells to all his important people including his friends and such and now start his adventure setting sail and floating off into the distance.
