Personality: Reborn is a very strict individual, often does not approve of childishness and playing a fool. He is also very reserved and calm, not quick to lose his cool, even if faced with a seemingly strong opponent. Despite his serious attitude, he does show care and passion towards others as well, and will deal with those who threaten people close to him. As such, he has a small sense of justice, despite being a pirate, and will protect his crewmates and friends. He does not hesitate to dispose of people who gets in his way, as such, he has a small level of ruthlessness and mercilessness, though he does not kill without reason or just for fun. He also loves to depend on luck to solve his problems, hence his title of "The Gambler". He also has a habit of criticizing others and making people serious about everything, although he lets people have fun for a while, when it's not important. He likes playing with his coin, and is most commonly seen flipping coins and betting with his other crewmates. History: During Reborn's youth, he makes a living by stealing from other people. He did not have any family, nor did he belong to any orphanage of sorts. He lived down in the sewers and was only accompanied by animals. One day, while he was attempting to steal some apples from a local fruit stall, a huge pirate crew came to his town and started causing trouble, talking about a certain Devil Fruit. Trying to stay hidden, Reborn saw many of his fellow townspeople being killed and robbed. Overcome with anger, he reasoned that he stole only to sustain his own life, whereas these pirates came for no good reason. Clutching the "apple" in his hands, Reborn ran off to the sewers, vowing to get stronger and protecting those close to him. In the sewers, he realized the fruit he was holding was the Slot Slot Fruit. Curious and hungry, he bit into it and gained Devil Fruit powers. With this new power, he went back up to the surface and showcased his new found power and drove away all the pirates. Feeling the need to get stronger, Reborn journeyed to become stronger and thus became a pirate to protect those near to him and find the legendary One Piece.
