Equipment Name: Quadruple M ("Mellow Modified Macerating Machine gun")
Equipment Level: Level 1
Equipment Type: Modified Machine gun
Equipment Description:
Base Design (Unmodified)
(Look at the base design first) The Quadruple M is a modified version of a model of a machine gun created by Hunter's master, Howl, called the Triple R, the Radically Reciprocating Repeater. A major change between models is that the Quadruple M has the ability to switch between two firing modes. Instead of just being able to fire like a machine gun, the Quadruple M can change to a manual firing mode, only being able to fire one bullet per pull of the trigger. Along with a scope taken from a similarly sized rifle, this single shot mode can be used to more effectively hit targets from a farther distance, as long as the user can adequately measure distances. The stock of the gun is also made out of a slightly stronger, black colored wood, being more able to handle the stress from continuous use. Along with these noticeable changes, there are things that haven't changed between the two makes. For one, the magazine size for both models stays at fifty bullets. There also have been no improvements to the recoil of the gun, or to overheating from continuous firing. On that note, it is advisable to only fire half of a magazine before the gun begins to glow red hot from the excessive firing. Requires one post to reload, and it requires one post for the gun to cool down from overheating. Has 4 clips per thread, giving Hunter a capacity of 200 bullets per thread.
Equipment Significance: Combative Use; Given by Hunter's master to be used as his primary weapon on his travels to begin with.
Equipment Strength:
-Two different firing modes
-Ability to deal with farther ranges than the older model.
-Able to last longer under stress of use.
Equipment Weaknesses:
-Overheats after firing more than 25 shots within a succession of each other.
-Recoil makes arm strength and endurance necessary to use the gun effectively.
-Requires understanding of distances to effectively use the single shot mode.
