Personality: When you first meet Saori she is cold and distant, and seems to prefer experimenting to talking. After you get to know her and she starts to warm up to you she becomes nicer and more talkative, and is really loyal to her friends. Saori is very dark and always uses gallows humor and speculates about hypothetical situations. She has a bit of an obsession with death and what comes after, and even though she is afraid of it she thinks and talks about it a lot. Saori is very intelligent and well prepared, though she smiles mostly when experimenting. While smart about science related things, if any information wont benefit her then she wont bother remembering it, and most common knowledge comes as a surprise to her.She really hates anybody who complains, cries or acts like an idiot. If she doesn't like you she is unafraid to tell you, and tries to never mince words.

Behavior/Habits: Saori has a very strange silent laugh that often just looks like she is shaking. Whenever Saori tells a joke or anything funny she never laughs. The only time she ever smiles or laughs is when she is experimenting. When happy she whistles. When fighting Saori wants the battle to end as quickly as possible, and kills without mercy, the only exception to this is when she has a new invention/ experiment she wants to try out, in which case she is like a cat with a mouse. When scared she becomes pale and twitchy and tries to hide it, even if her shaking hands give it away.

History: Saori grew up in a small port town, that was constantly visited by pirates. When Saori was a kid she dreamed of becoming a pirate and seeing the world. To prepare for her life as a pirate she started trainig at a local dojo with two of her brothers, and still fights with a sword today. When Saori was 13 everybody in her family contracted a mysterious disease and died. She thought that it was given to her family through a crew of passing pirates, and tried asking them for their help to save her family but was turned down due to her age. She decided to become a doctor, to try and cure as many diseases as possible, including the one that killed her family, so she became a marine scientist. She thought that she would stay a marine forever, and even made friends with several notable marine scientists. After seeing corruption in the marines and the cruel treatment of pirates and civilians she and a friend of hers quit, and stole some secret navy blueprints. Her friend joined the revolutionaries and Saori decided to travel the world searching for the origins of the disease that killed her family.
