Personality: Kai is a very easy-going person. He is cheerful and enthusiastic regardless of what he is doing or of the situation he is in. He is also athletic and very agile. The combination of his easy-going nature and his agility makes him an accomplished thief. Kai is always willing to learn new things, however when it comes to completing tasks given to him he becomes reluctant to do it. If offered food or the chance to learn new recipes his reluctance disappears. He is friendly with everyone but rarely does he give his loyalty. When he does give someone his loyalty it is forever. Only two people have his loyalty. Even though he is friendly to all he prefers the company of animals, especially the cute ones. Kai is rarely angry. It is harder to earn his hatred than his loyalty but when he hates he hates passionately. No person has earned his hatred yet, not even his father.

When he is planning to steal he bites his lower lip and when he steals he refers to it as a "pick-up". Before he eats, Kai catalogues what is on his plate, takes in the scent of the food then he starts to eat. Kai has a habit of adopting cute animals.
History: Kai grew up in a fairly well-off home. His father was a prosperous bar owner and his bar drew in various characters. When he was five he met a man who taught him how to lie, pick someone's pocket, pick a lock and various thieving techniques. Kai, however, did not begin to steal until he was nine years of age. At that time Kai's father decided it was time he started Kai's training so that he could some day take over the bar. At first Kai did what he was ordered to but then the orders became harder to accomplish and he was punished terribly. In six months he was covered in bruises and his father refused to have him healed. That is how he came to steal for the first time-he stole ointments. His mother had always conceded to his father's will but when she tried to reason with him she was slapped. On his eleventh birthday she handed him a bag and told him to runaway. He never looked back. After three years of stealing from other, he tried to rob a man but he was caught. For whatever reason the man, Kenshin, took him in and he has been cooking ever since, with the occasional robbery.
